Salomon Sense Marin Trail Running Shoes
When you feel like leaving the tarmac behind and exploring new horizons, the SENSE MARIN is made for those rolling trails in the sun. Take your time, free your mind. Go for a different kind of run.
3D Stretch Air Mesh Upper
The upper of the Salomon Sense Marin Trail Running Shoes is constructed with a quick-drying 3D stretch air mesh that allows extreme breathability ensuring air can permeate the entire upper of the shoe to provide a better climate keeping your feet cool when the temperature rises. Fitted with the Sensifit system, it works to cradle the foot by providing a precise and secure fit. Endofit is an internal fit sleeve which is designed to hug the foot in exactly the right places and improves feedback and foot wrapping. Also featuring a quick lace system the Sense pro provides a minimalistic and strong lace for a one-pull tightening ensuring you get the shoes on and off with minimal effort. A lace pocket is useful as it allows the laces to be stowed away making sure the laces do not get caught or snagged on any sticks or bushes out on the trail, reducing distractions. Friction-free lace eyelets allow for quick and easy one pull lacing.
Compressed EVA Midsole
Fitted with a Compression moulded EVA (CMEVA) midsole the Sense pro provides an excellent next to foot cushioning and anatomical support. The Compression Moulded EVA is a high-quality foam that’s responsible for cushioning the foot throughout the running session. It’s long lasting, so it won’t break down easily and is also responsive and springy. The profeel film engages during the transition phase to support the foot and improve the overall rolling of the shoes during toe-off. It provides a mechanism linking the rear part of the shoes to the forefoot and provides consistency and stability through the middle of the shoe. Featuring Energycell+ that is a high-rebound midsole compound that provides exceptional energy return whilst also delivering substantial cushioning and durability.
Wet Traction Contagrip Outsole
The forefoot section has a section where the rubber compound is slightly thicker and the gripping lugs are slightly more aggressive to give you that traction you need when climbing over objects. This section facilitates better climbing mechanics and surface control, delivering traction whenever it is needed. With the use of multi-directional gripping lugs, it allows the shoe to hold onto different types of surfaces with ease, even on wet surfaces, preventing slippage. The outsole is made with a premium wet traction contagrip which is a durable rubber compound that covers the platform of the Salomon Sense Marin Trail Running Shoes. It prevents the abrasive trails from causing damage to the underside of the shoes.
